Fashion Blogging

Today, we have Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram. Many smart girls and guys are jumping on these platforms and reaping thousands of dollars each month. What they do isn’t something you can’t do.

Fashion blogging is one of the lucrative ways to take advantage of these social platforms. The door of opportunity is open to you.

You don’t have to be an A-lister, designer, model, or celebrity. All you have to do is become a fashion blogger. And make sure you start your blog on WordPress.

Now, people don’t follow these designers and models as they once do. People now follow fashion bloggers. The power belongs to them. No wonder they are collectively banking millions of dollars online. Chiara Ferragni makes over $8 million per year.

The door is very open to you too. It doesn’t matter if you’re a male or a female, old or young, you can make lots of money in fashion blogging.

Blogging has become a perfect career for people struggling to find stable and filling career. You don’t need to have a large following before you get started. A few of your friends are all you need to get started.

By maintaining consistency and working hard, soon you’ll start getting requests from clothing stores asking you to review their products and mention their store. These stores will send you items for free. These are items you would have spent big money if you were to purchase them yourself.

But before these stores will send you items, they want to see your followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest. If you only have 500 followers on Twitter, no store will send you any items or even contact you. This is where the true work is. You have to get thousands of followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest before any clothing brand or store would notice you.

The good news is you can do it. Anyone can do it. It’s not rocket science.

There are some guides that will teach you how to build your followers base on each of these social channels.

The Facebook Queen Mari Smith wrote an article titled “21 Creative Ways To Increase Your Facebook Fanbase”. You’ll learn everything you need to know about building your fanbase on Facebook.

Richard Lazazzera, a content strategist on Shopify wrote “How To Build A Massive Following On Instagram”. This article will tell you everything you need to know about building a massive following on Instagram.

Kim Garst wrote “How to Build a HUGE, Targeted Twitter Following In 20 Minutes a Day” and you should read it if you want to build your own fashion audience on Twitter.

Snapchat is starting to gain ground. Soldsie has a Snapchat guide titled “8 Easy Ways to Build a Following on Snapchat”. I recommend you read this too if you want to build an audience on Snapchat.

Pinterest is the last one here. Mitt Ray wrote a comprehensive Pinterest guide titled “12 Ways to Get More Pinterest Followers”.

By building your fashion audience on these social platforms along with your blog, you’ll have thousands of followers all spread across these social sites. This will make you a brand and more clothing stores and brands will want to work with you.

Just make sure you read each of those guides and you diligently apply the tactics shared in those articles.

Fashion Blogging is a Lucrative Profession

What I may not tell you is that fashion blogging is not a hobby, it’s a job. You’re self-employed and you work at your own set time. There’s a big difference between fashion blogging and working for a boss.

Fashion blogging is interesting, but it comes with some expenses. You’ll have to put in some money before you start getting anything out of it.

You’ll have to get your own domain name, your own cool web design customized for you. And you’ll also have to get your own camera and maybe ask your friends to photograph you. You’ll also have to learn photo editing or you’ll have to pay photo editors to do that for you.

Photo editing isn’t hard. You can read this Adobe’s guide that will teach you everything you need to know about editing your photos with Photoshop.

Well, you could easily become frightened by all these things you have to do. It’s the reason most people just forget about becoming a fashion blogger.

What you may not know is that a quickie sponsored post can earn you $25,000. Yes, you can read that again. There is also some partnerships and collaboration that might earn you hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you work hard enough, you could be making $1 million per year.

Fashion blogging is super sweet. You’re missing out if you don’t start now.
